2026 Ultra Marathon Opportunities

LCRK has always had strong participation in a range of accessible and iconic ultra-marathon events. For 2025 the events include:

Morison 50 - 22 Aug Windsor

Have you got plans for Saturday 22 August? You do now! Windsor Paddlesports Club is proud to announce the Morrison 50 is returning in August. With options to paddle 25km or 50km including a stint in the dark, this will be the perfect opportunity to have a practice run for the Myall Classic or Hawkesbury Canoe Classic. Paddlers will start from Macquarie Park, Windsor and head upstream 12.5km close to North Richmond Bridge before coming back downstream. The second leg is then 12.5km downstream before heading back to the park for a well earned dinner!

Start times will be as follows:

  1. wave 1 starts at 2pm for those who need a little longer to paddle 50km, or paddlers who want to paddle 25km in the daylight.
  2. wave 2 starts at 3pm for those paddlers doing the 50km course (Division 5 and above in the NSW Marathon Series or min 10klm/hr average).
  3. wave 3 starts at 5.30pm which is for all paddlers wanting to complete 25km under a moonlit sky.
